My dear Friend,
I am stunned with the terrible sorrow which has befallen you. If it had not been for
Nannies' sickness I would have gone at once to you. My heart is with you and I do sincerely
grieve with you and the whole family.
Nannie was so shocked that Mrs. Pearson got me to stay with her while she went to you.
We cannot see any but the dark side at the present. We know God is a just God and there is
some wise reason why this great sorrow should be sent, but we cannot see the why - May God
bless you and give you the grace you need. Lean upon Him and try to feel "Thy will be done."
This is one of the hardest things to do, to feel submissive in all things to God's will. Oh
that I could comfort you, but there is only one that can do this. Try to lean upon His strong
arms and bear up for your children. They need you.
God bless you all and comfort you is the prayer of your sympathizing friend.
					Jennie T. Anderson
Mrs. Hague sends love and sympathy.
