RIGHT: Daniel Norton (1843-1920) brother of John Calvin. Very interesting to see his grave in November on the property of Elijah and Eliza Walker Norton. He was wounded at The Wilderness in his jaw. He does appear in the "1910 Confederate Reunion" photo beside his brother, John Calvin Norton. He stayed at the Elijah Norton home and farmed until his death in 1920. Eliza Ann Norton remained in the home another decade or so, being the final surviving child of Elijah and Eliza Walker Norton.
